What separates two CRMs of the same generation?
Attio and Kasar look alike. Both rest on a data model you shape yourself, sync your email and calendars, ship an AI assistant and expose an MCP server. Both publish their prices.
The difference comes down to one question: where does your prospecting happen? At Attio, LinkedIn and WhatsApp come through third-party apps, and a sequence sends email and nothing else. In Kasar, it all happens in the CRM: it sends, it follows up, it catches the reply and files it on the record. Attio files your customers. Kasar goes and gets them.
LinkedIn and WhatsApp: in the CRM, or in a note?
As of October 1, 2026, Attio's help center lists sync with Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365 Outlook and Outlook Calendar, and states that no other provider can be connected, whether over IMAP or SMTP. LinkedIn and WhatsApp are not on that list. They come through App Store apps published by third parties: SuperLinkIn saves LinkedIn messages as a note on the record, and TimelinesAI adds a note per WhatsApp message and lets you reply from the record.
In Kasar, those accounts connect inside the product. Pro opens one account of your choice, LinkedIn or WhatsApp. Max opens both. The conversations land in the same inbox as email. You read, you reply, and the exchange is filed on the record. One vendor, one product, one set of data.
One sequence, how many channels?
According to its help center, Attio sequences are multi-step email campaigns, available on the Pro and Enterprise plans only and sent through the synced Gmail or Microsoft account. Sending limits are 12 emails an hour and 200 a day for each mailbox. One channel.
Kasar puts three in the same sequence: an email, a LinkedIn invitation, a WhatsApp follow-up. Email sequences go out from your own mailboxes, over SMTP, with address rotation: 5,000 sends a month and 5 sender addresses on Pro, 20,000 sends and 10 addresses on Max. Kasar warms up your outreach mailboxes. Max adds LinkedIn and WhatsApp sequences.
When the prospect replies, the sequence stops. The reply lands on the record, in the CRM inbox, and tasks get created as the conversation moves. The sale picks up exactly where the prospecting stopped.
From which plan does the CRM fit your business?
Attio's pricing grid counts objects of every type: up to 3 on Free, 5 on Plus, 12 on Pro. The "Custom objects" line is only ticked from Pro: on Free and Plus you turn on standard objects. Records are capped at 250,000 on Plus and 1,000,000 on Pro.
Kasar counts custom objects, on top of contacts and companies: 2 on Free, 5 on Pro, unlimited on Max. Records are unlimited from Pro. Your projects, your products and your cases fit in the CRM from the very first plan.
Sign-in follows the same logic. Attio's grid ticks "Single sign-on" and "SCIM" for Enterprise only, and its help center confirms it. Kasar gives Google sign-in on every plan, and SAML with SCIM on the Enterprise plan. The detail is on the pricing page.
How do you move from Attio to Kasar?
With one export and one import. Attio lets you export any view, table or kanban, as a CSV or Excel file: every visible column becomes a column in the file. Its help center notes that enriched data cannot be exported and that those cells come out blank.
Kasar imports CSV and Excel files on every plan. Leo maps the columns to your fields without using credits. Your records are in, your mailboxes connect, the first sequence goes out. See everything Kasar does.
Why teams pick Kasar
- LinkedIn and WhatsApp land in the CRM inbox, next to email: you read and reply in one place, with no third-party app.
- A single sequence chains email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, and stops the moment the prospect replies.
- The reply lands on the record, and tasks are created, adjusted and closed as the conversation moves.
- Custom objects start on the Free plan and go up to 5 on Pro, at €49 per seat: at Attio they start on the Pro plan, at €74.
- Records are unlimited from Pro: your database grows without a plan change.
- Google SSO, webhooks and the MCP server come with every plan, along with a public API and automations to plug in the rest.
What does a team of eight cost over a year?
Assumptions: eight seats, annual billing, public prices checked on October 1, 2026, no credit top-up and no third-party app. We compare Kasar Pro, which takes up to eight seats, with Attio Pro. Why that plan? Because Attio's pricing grid only ticks sequences and custom objects from Pro. It is the first Attio plan that sends a sequence.
Attio Pro: 8 × €74 × 12 = €7,104. Kasar Pro: 8 × €49 × 12 = €4,704. The gap: €2,400 a year, or €25 per seat per month. On monthly billing, the seat goes to €93 at Attio and €59 at Kasar.
For that price, Kasar Pro includes email sequences, 5 custom objects, unlimited records and one LinkedIn or WhatsApp account in the inbox. At Attio, LinkedIn and WhatsApp go through third-party apps whose price is not on the pages we checked: it is not in this total. Kasar Max, at €99 per seat, adds both accounts and LinkedIn and WhatsApp sequences. Run your own numbers in the simulator on the pricing page.
